How to Apply Filing in GoFreight?

ISF, AMS, ACI (eManifest), AES, AFR, ICS2(ENS)

GoFreight provides a variety of security filing services to help customers comply with customs requirements in different countries and regions. The following filing services are available for application:

  • ISF (U.S.)
  • AMS (U.S.)
  • ACI (eManifest) (Canada)
  • AES (U.S.)
  • AFR (Japan)
  • ICS2 (ENS) (EU)

These services support customs filing requirements across different countries and regions, including CBP (U.S.), CBSA (Canada), Japan Customs, and EU Customs.

AMS Service (U.S. Automated Manifest System)

In GoFreight, AMS filings can be submitted through the following methods:

  • Submit AMS filings directly from the Ocean Import or Ocean Export modules in GoFreight.
  • Submit AMS filings through the portal.

    For customers who need overseas agents or third parties to submit AMS filings on their behalf, sub-accounts can be created in the portal.
    To request a vendor portal sub-account, please provide the following information to the GoFreight Support Team:
    • Company Name
    • Company Address
    • Contact Person
    • Telephone Number
    • Email Address

Once the required information is provided, the GoFreight Support Team will coordinate with the vendor to create the sub-account.

Before You Apply

  • Ensure your International Carrier Bond (Type 3 / C3 Bond) is active.
  • If you also plan to use the ISF service, a single AMS/ISF LOI can be submitted for both services.

Application Process

  1. Contact GoFreight Support to obtain a quotation.
  2. Accept the quotation. An electronic agreement will be sent for your signature.
  3. Complete the required documents:
    • LOI (Letter of Intent)
  4. Email the completed documents to support@gofreight.com.
  5. CBP approval typically takes approximately two weeks.
  6. Once approved, GoFreight will complete the system setup and send your AMS user credentials and user guide.

ISF Service (Importer Security Filing)

In GoFreight, ISF filings can be submitted through the following methods:

  • Submit ISF filings directly from the Ocean Import module in GoFreight.
  • Submit ISF filings through the portal.

    For customers who need overseas agents or third parties to submit ISF filings on their behalf, sub-accounts can be created in the portal.
    To request a vendor portal sub-account, please provide the following information to the GoFreight Support Team:
    • Company Name
    • Company Address
    • Contact Person
    • Telephone Number
    • Email Address

Once the required information is provided, the GoFreight Support Team will coordinate with the vendor to create the sub-account.

Application Process

  1. Contact GoFreight Support to obtain a quotation.
  2. Accept the quotation. An electronic agreement will be sent for your signature.

ACI / eManifest Service (Canada)

In GoFreight, ACI/eManifest filings can be submitted through the following methods:

  • Submit ACI/eManifest filings directly from the Ocean and Air Import modules in GoFreight.
  • Submit ACI/eManifest filings through the portal.

    For customers who need overseas agents or third parties to submit ACI/eManifest filings on their behalf, sub-accounts can be created in the portal.
    To request a vendor portal sub-account, please provide the following information to the GoFreight Support Team:
    • Company Name
    • Company Address
    • Contact Person
    • Telephone Number
    • Email Address

Once the required information is provided, the GoFreight Support Team will coordinate with the vendor to create the sub-account.

Application Process

  1. Contact GoFreight Support to obtain a quotation.
  2. Accept the quotation.
  3. Complete the required application documents.
  4. Email the completed documents to support@gofreight.com.
  5. CBSA approval typically takes approximately two weeks.
  6. Once approved, GoFreight will activate the service and provide the eManifest user guide.

  • Signed ACI/eManifest Application Form ( Please download first and fill it out )

    Only the following sections of the application form need to be completed:
    • Section 1 – ACI EDI Application
    • Section 2 – Company Profile
    • Section 3 – Authorize an Agent
    • Section 10 – Certification

The remaining sections will be completed by GoFreight.

 

AES Service (Automated Export System)

In GoFreight, AES filings can be submitted through the following methods:

  • Submit AES filings directly from the Ocean Export or Air Export modules in GoFreight.
  • Submit AES filings through the portal.

    For customers who need overseas agents or third parties to submit AES filings on their behalf, sub-accounts can be created in the portal.
    To request a vendor portal sub-account, please provide the following information to the GoFreight Support Team:

    • Contact Person
    • Telephone Number
    • Email Address

Once the required information is provided, the GoFreight Support Team will coordinate with the vendor to create the sub-account.

AFR Service (Japan Advance Filing Rules)

GoFreight supports electronic AFR filing to Japan Customs for Ocean Export shipments.

In GoFreight, AFR filings can be submitted through the following methods:

  • Submit AFR filings directly from the Ocean Export module in GoFreight.
  • Submit AFR filings through the vendor’s portal.

For customers who need overseas agents or third parties to submit AFR filings on their behalf, sub-accounts can be created in the vendor portal.

ICS2 Service (Import Control System 2)

GoFreight supports ICS2 (ENS) filing for Ocean Export shipments destined for the European Union.

Before You Apply

Before requesting activation, you must:

  • Obtain an EORI Number from the relevant European Customs authority.
  • Provide the EORI Number to GoFreight Support.

Application Process

  1. Apply for an EORI Number. ( If you do not have an EORI number)
  2. Submit the ICS2 application.
  3. Provide your EORI Number to GoFreight Support.
  4. GoFreight will process the setup, which typically takes a few business days.
  5. Once completed, the ICS2 filing service will be enabled for your account.
